Abstract:The CO2removal efficiency and changes of pH value in solution with the operation time were tested. The
CO2removal efficiency was observed under the following experimental conditions:aqueous ammonia mass fraction of
5% and 10% gas flow rate of 540 mL /minCO2volume fraction of 13 7% The result shows that for the aqueous
ammonia with mass fraction 10% the CO2removal efficiency can reach 90% at first and then decreases slowly as
the reaction is proceeding. The reaction products were analyzed and determined by X-ray diffraction (XRD)
analysis after condensationcrystallizationand drying The measurement results indicate that NH4HCO3is the
major product of the reaction The solid products after crystallization were analyzed by TGA The result shows that
the decomposition rate is about 100% at 455 K The temperature for maximum decomposition rate is 416 K when
the heating rate is 10 K/min
